Ladies, I am in the process of ordering my TTD from DH Gate and wanted to know when you order the dresses from the vendors do you order it one size too big. I am naturally like a 6 but I feel like I should order it an 8 just in case. Figured its easier to make it smaller if its too big then to make it bigger if its too small right?

Instead of ordering off of sizes such as 6 or 8, go based on measurements such as hip, waist, and chest. They should have a chart to use. Wedding dress sizing is way different from normal sizing. For example I normally wear a size 10-12 dress, but my wedding dress is a size 16. Hope that helps! Also, if it is a lace up back, there is more room for error because it can be easily adjusted :)

OK Ladies I need some help - I think I have finally decided on a dress.... without trying it on of course - But, have fallen in love with it!!  I have just contacted Jasmine's and they are going to get started... They are asking if I want any alterations done on the dress??  I think I don't want it SOO white, I asked about changing the lace to something not so Harsh - but they kind of steered me away from that... Anything else I should mention?  (Sorry - I have no girlfriends in this country and need some girly assistance!!)

This is it!  Maggie Sottero Arabella

Donna, I think the dress is just fine as it is.

Jasmines is in the process of making my dress and the one thing I will say about them is they wil ask you and ask you and ask you to make sure they are doing it the way you want it (as has been my experience).

I went with another dress company at first and still don't have a dress and I wished I had started out with Jasmine's. But since working with them, I have been very pleased.

I forgot to comment on the color.

I understand what you mean by not wanting it "so" white, but I chose white because my fiance will be wearing all white linen and I didn't know what Jasmines' "off white" was (didn't have time to order a swatch as it was getting down to the wire because of my other dress mishap) and I didn't want my dress to look that much different in color against his clothing. But I think the color will have to be something that you determine based on what works well with your skin tone.
