Hi CaseyMichael,

I didnt' know if you knew this or not but Jasmine's Bridal Shop is on facebook. Like them on FB and you can see their premium work.

I found my dress as a sample sale dress but before that I was about to order from them. I've read every page of this thread and they seemed to be the sought after company to order from.

That 2nd dress is beautiful!

Hope this helps :)

Its been a while since I have posted. I have really just been looking for the perfect dress. My wedding is next year in September. I am not having a destination wedding but I am getting a knock off dress. I have been in great contact with Jasmine's BridalShop and I have received quotes on 4 dress. I just dont know which one to pick...I am 5 1 and 1/2 and wear a size 4. These are my options so far what do you all think. Also who has a dress from Jasmine's and how do you like it? What grade fabric did you get?

This is a 15llk dress that I tried on in Kleinfields when I was in New York...Jasmine's quoted me 1k for designer fabric and the rhinestone work. I think I may want to find a different one to go there. What do you all think?

Thanks!

Thanks! I actually have the first dress idea from pictures off their FB page. I was wondering what the premimum grade feels like? Is it heavy or is it lightweight. I think that both dresses I chose seem like they will be heavy because of all the material at the bottom of the dress. I totally understand that it will not be a 100% replica and that is why I want a dress that I can choose what it looks like! Thats the fun part.

Thanks again and I will keep you all posted!

I did find them on FB. I have received quotes from them and they are all under $1,000..well if I go with designer grade...If I go with premimum grade they will all be under $700. The second dress I realllllllly love. I had no business trying it on due to the fact that it is $15,000 and way out of my budget but I just wanted to see what it looked like on me...this dress is at Kleinfield's in New York and I wanted to take pics in it but they really watch you like hounds over there...Oh well it was beautiful on and I sent that picture to Jasmine's and they quoted me $ 529. 19 if I choose premimum grade fabric and $859.94 for Premimum Grade and Designer Materials. I am hoping that they could get as close as possible to the bottom of the dress that they can!!

Thanks!

Hey guys! Has anyone heard of tidebuy? There's a couple girls I know that ordered their wedding dresses there and they turned out great, but I'm curious to see if anyone has any horror stories from buying from that site? I've been doing a lot of looking around, so I'm trying to gather as much information as I can get to find the best site to order my knockoff from :)

Thanks!!

I agree 100%.  This thread has almost died off completely.  I'm sorry but HUUUUUGE hole in this forum without her!  Like her or not, she was a valuable asset.  I think there were a few on here that let their own insecurities get the better of them. Just my two and a half cents worth.

Brides Across America is hosting a Veteran's day free designer wedding dress giveaway for military members, their fiance's, or their spouses who got married by a justice of the peace and are planning a wedding within the next 18 months (like me ;P ).  You or your fiance has to have been deployed within the last 5 years or must be getting ready for a deployment.

Bridal gown stores across the country are participating in this, each store will be preparing a select number of gowns to give away. Most of the gowns are samples and overstocks and are worth approximately $500 to $3000. Dresses range in sizes from 4-22 and will be given away on a first-come, first serve basis as long as you qualify.  Sponsoring designers include Jim Hjelm, Marisa, Alfred Angelo, Lian Carlo, Watters, Vera Wang, Erin Cole, Impression, Mathew Christopher, Ti Adoro Jewelry, Bridal Gallery by Yvonne, Paloma Blanca, Marys, Allure, and Kathy Ireland.  You can find a store near your location at http://www.bridesacrossamerica.com/

Hope this helps somebody!

Congratz on your slim down!  I have to agree this thread got a bit boring and superficial without PrettyPig.

I thought we were all adults here, who could handle everyone's opinions.
As someone who has slimmed down from 235 lbs to 135, I don't understand why an adult couldn't just ignore her comments without blocking her from the forums completely.

Oh well. So is the life of brides I suppose.
I guess for commenting I'll get blocked too.

o

I agree with both you and GracieMurano. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I urge the moderators to change their decisions. PrettyPigPig never censored her opinions because she shouldn't have had too. We are a community, and every community should be able to express negative and positive views and not be fired upon for having a different opinion.

She also had valuable information about Chinese retailers, Dressmaking, the best sites,  and earlier in these pages, she even offered to translate Chinese.

Its absolutely preposterous you would boot her for something this silly.

Personally I think the premium grade feels great.  My dress is pretty simple and it weighs quite a bit, it has two layers of chiffon on the top of the skirt and then is lined underneath of that.  To me I do not think it feels cheap
