Thanks Prettypig and JB.  Sascolo - yes, I love the dress.  I'm very very happy with it.  I posted a few days ago when the dress arrived that I was very happy with it but took a bit to get the pics up.  For less than 200 dollars, I think it is AMAZING.  Especially when you consider the original Oscar de la Renta is somewhere around 10,000.  I love the little changes I asked them to make and the one liberty they took with the hemline in the front.  There is absolutely nothing I would change about it.

So, babyonline says that the dress was not good quality and they are fixing it.  I've heard that on here before so I know its either an ongoing issue or an excuse.  Then they said they're computer was hacked and they could do something although they never told me how that effected making the dress...they said it would take another week to try to make.  So 2 more weeks before I get it.  I told them that I can't wait that long and want a refund if they can't send it sooner.

So through a chat they agreed to post it by Monday or give me my money back.  I have too much to do and plan for.  Without even knowing what the dress looks like I can't coordinate with my photographer on the sites, get accessories, shoes, flowers, husbands clothes, potential alterations (I'm assuming these will need to be done), hair, makeup....it all hangs on the dress....

So if they don't send out on Monday, I will need to get another option...hopefully ebay will be helpful!

What a disaster...

Ericka,

babyonline and wywedding are 2 different vendors on dhgate.  Plus, even u go buy a dress at a local bridal store, the ETA is 6 months anyway.  I don't understand why brides are in panic mode after 18 days of placing their orders.  I would rather to get a well made dress than a dress which comes on time.

Misskim,

I am sorry that you have some issues with ur dress.  Like Ginger said it is worth the wait.  I hope it will work out for u.  However, I did book my photog before buying my dress, my hubby already bought his clothes without seeing my dress.  Shoes and bling blings too...bought before the dress's arrival.  As for makeup, I don't think I will change my makeup preference because of my dress anyway (I am not Lady Gaga).  I guess you can go on "parallel" planning mode, the dress won't be completely diff from the picture anyway.

So sorry to hear about the delay with your dress.  A similar thing happened to me when it was sent back to the factory for more work on the beadings.  However, I am happy that it went back because the changes they made def improved the dress.  You can look at it like this, at least the reps and ensuring you get a quality product by making them do the dress over. I would rather them redo, than send one out that was subpar and many companies probably would not do that.  They'd send it out regardless of the quality.

When is your wedding?  I have lots of time, but still found myself getting impatient with the time it was taking to make it.  I think we have a tendancy to get anxious because we want to see it.

I'm sure you will be happy with the end result because they do put out a quality product.

ok time to show my dress (remade by Babyonline)

the background:  I ordered a dress with Monica Bridal a year ago (yes, at least 6 months in advance, no fuss), it turned out to GORGEOUS and VERY VERY NICE.  However It was a bit too long and I lost weight...like from 98 lbs to 90 lbs.  The resizing would cost more locally than buy another dress.  Given, I ordered my bestfriend's dress (similar design as mine) from Babyonline and it turned out to be GREAT as well, I ordered my remake from Babyonline.

Special thx to Ginger who inspired me to add a bow at the back of the dress.

There are the pics
