i had so much drama getting my dress but its finally here! they put the wrong house number and it was sitting on neighbor's doorstep for like 4 days as i franctically was calling tnt and fedex! after that nightmare i finally opened it yesterday when my fh was at work and tried it on. so heres my review (i tried to take pics of myself but they did not come out that great---ill try to add a few later):

the overall workmanship is very good for $180! i was impressed with the quality of the dress, and the color was perfect! i chose ivory and its the perfect light ivory that i wanted. the corset/loops and whole back of the dress was perfect. the front had flaws. the "pin-marks" on the dresses are actual stitches, so I am not sure how to get rid of them. the boning shows through the front of my dress a little, not horrible, but i still didn't like that. the pick-ups needed to start higher on my hip--the rouching goes further down than what i wanted. worst of all---it was too short! i even added extra inches to my measurement too!!! it may be that its a little tight on me (process of loosing weight so i ordered it a tad smaller) so the length is not at its natural state, but still. i hope that can be fixed. im also going to look for some rhinestone appliques or a belt or something to give the dress a little sparkle. still deciding to wear it and try to make the fixes or just give up on it and look elsewhere :/ id hate for all my effort and 180 to go down the drain though

The dress looks really similar to the original!! They did a great job! In my opinion, the reason the beading part doesn't "wow" you is because they applied it to the fabric. On the original, it looks as though the beading is directly on the skin (or at least on a very thin piece of fabric). To be 100% honest, I think you can find brighter and shinier appliqués (the beading part) at trim stores, or online. I think it would take someone maybe an hour or two to apply new appliqués if the straps were thinner, or removed altogether.

I'll try and do some searching to see if I can find anything that will work. But the beads they used on the KO are more white and iridescent, whereas the beads on the original are silver and crystal.

The dress also sits up higher on the mannequin compared to the model in the original, so that may be why it looks a little different too!

Really nice job!! I would be very pleased if that were my dress...minor modifications and it will really "WOW" you!!
Very true points. If you found something I would love to know about it. Thank-you SO much! :) Your comments made me smile, and you're right, I think when I receive it it will be WOW. :)

Mine is currently being bustled but when I get it back I'll take pics of me with it on. I think they did a great job for the price!!
Thanks girls! All of you definitely make me feel better about it! I think I will LOVE it!

Running bride, I think if you work on the straps it will be perfect. If you have a good seamstress, I think she could use either nude thin or netting type straps and attach the more crystally beading to the new straps. I love the dress but think it will be wonderful with a little tweeking.

AJ, your dress is absolutely gorgeous. Your thin soft satin looks much better than my thin soft satin in picture. which makes me hope that maybe my pic was dull.
Well, I got my new pics. They lowered the neck in the first dress, and I decided it was too low for my little boobs that need a bra. So I had them make the second dress (they offered to remake in a different, less matte fabric) just the way they made the first originally. So I'm going to have two dresses sent and now I'm afraid that the first would have been perfect, but now the neck is too low, and the second looks too shiny (but maybe it's a picture thing, and in real life it's not). I wish they could have had silk charmeuse available. Oh well, they still look very nice and great quality (although I am scared of the pin holes I keep hearing about). I should be getting them any day now. If I like one, I may try selling the other (no sense in two right) for very cheap since they threw the second in for a smaller price.
Victoria's secret has "Plunging bras" for deep necklines. You can order one try it & return it if it doesn't work. I bet they would work with your first dress. I actually Love that neckline, but I could never get away with it...

Mine is missing some 'wow' factor. I need to tell them to jazz up the beading on the straps a little bit. Anyone have any ideas? I am not good with this stuff and want to make sure I give them a good idea of what I want. Does the front look a little funny to anyone?

I'm still unsure what I think....
Runningbride I think they did a really great job on your dress! It looks sooo pretty!!! And like one of the other girls said you can probably find someone in your area to redo the beading to how you want it. But all in all the dress looks GREAT!!!
