This is the dress I want, I love the puffy style so pretty. :D I also requested photos but she keeps ignoring me, I read that sunny doesn't post pics this is who im working with through emails about my product, But I wish she did!!

Pretty!

I'm sure it will be fabulous! Yeah- my dresses are fairly detailed so I'm thankful Jasmines has a "mid production photo" option. Just in case there are parts I need them to change/fix.

Can't wait to see it on you when it arrives! When's it's ETA?

The ETA proposed is August 13 which still give me 30 days to find a dress if this one is just horrible and I cant do anything with it.

I looked at a few but I was so worried baout sizing and if the quality was too poor to have altered well! Good luck though!!

Definitely- if you don't do research and choose a vendor that has done a ton of brides and who are happy- it could be a nightmare. Allowing time for alterations and going with a respected company (even if it's a bit more expensive) is soooo worth it! I'm thrilled with Jasmines and can't wait to order and receive my dresses!

Hi, I am new as well. I got my dress made by Carabridal and I absolutely love my dress. I am so happy I went this route. I just did not see anything I truly loved in my price range at the bridal salons. This is me at alterations. The bust was slightly big so she will take it in and I am a bit hippy, so my seasmstress is going to let it out a tiny bit. So glad she is doing it as a gift. Definitely budget for alterations... If I didn't have my wonderful seamstress, I probably would have paid some $$$$ to have my dress perfect.

HI,

I am currently looking at a dress I really like from babyonline through dhgates. Anyone have experience with them? My main concern is the beading... that it might not be the same.

However it is quite cheap, and if ever I do not like it it wouldn't the end of the world... I could always try selling it. Just looking for some feedback.

Thank you

There are a lot of brides who have used them for simpler dresses... Many have pics. Read through this thread and I'm sure you will see lots!

@@tygrrlily @@tygrrlily Hello Girls, this dress topic (among all that goes on the for a DW) is driving me very confused. I had almost made an order for the Maggie dress at $1,700 and after reading this thread I dont think i will move forward with that (saving cash will help tons)

If I understood well all your comments I can look for dresses online (see below websites mentioned), send pictures (if I have a special photo request perhaps will pay an extra fee $30 for the pic), order and also ask for pictures in the mid production?

If I get a good deal I might end up buying two gowns (1 for my wedding day and the second for my TTD as my photographer suggested that) I was not looking at two gowns for the original cost of just one, but now that I found this boards, I feel more comfortable as I was super skeptical with ordering dresses online and I am a chicken when it comes to this specially because the boutique lady told me that I am just on time to order my dress since it takes 6 months to arrive and if I dont order they wont commit (very scary because dress will come in Jan/feb and wedding is in April), any ways after reading enough I would feel comfortable and more learning that i will save $1,000 or about.

The question for you girls is ...which of the sites above do you recommend ? If I also provided the wrong links please advise as of which is the correct one. Thanks so much for your help, I appreciate it..

ahh one more thing @@kmk2016, Are you using the beauty salon from Sensatori on your wedding date to get your hairdo and makeup or will you bring someone from outside?

I am thinking to bring beso drides http://www.yucatanhair.com/ after I read so many good things about them and have been communicating with them but I am not sure yet who I will use and if it is neccesary to bring someone from outside (I read the board about the Azul  beach bride who brought them). I am just not sure if I would like to have air brush or just prime (will have to try it on me first). Also I also feel super bad because I bringing all my outside vendor (photo, DJ) and not sure if many brides do that.

Thank you once again :) Linaco

Jasmines, Cara and dressily are the most talked about here and on other sites. jasmines is great for more intricate beading and lace. You have the wrong link though- it's jasmines bridal. Read through this thread as much as possible- it will give you a ton of information. I also recommend reading up on weddingbee forum where there are a lot of posts in super active forums.
