Yeah I want to buy a cheaper $50 white dress and trash that. We are getting married in a poolside garden so I thought it might be fun to take some shots in the water but we should try to ease into it. He just said there isn't anything he could buy and trash. I think maybe just a black shirt and some slacks. I think it would be so cool! I plan on convincing him and I will start looking for a long white dress to trash.

 

I also love your ideas. They sound so much fun!!! I love that idea of really simple shots having fun together all dressed up. I think that would be awesome!!

Are you having a destination wedding?   Photographers recommended men wear cargo or light jeans and white shirt for beach shots.    You can try a consignment store or value village (?) I vintage hunt there often and it's amazing how many things I come across with tags that are brand new and on their sales things are just worth dollars. 

I've seen lovely formal wear and birdesmaid dresses, even bridal there.   Just check that they are in good condition and wash as soon as you get home.

I think the best way to convince FI to do the TTD is to show him some pictures online where they are not trashing the dress, just having fun or romantic times. For me, I just really want a shot of us jumping into the pool! With all the humidity, my hair will look its best when soaking wet!

Just ordered a dress from gianinar.  I'm hoping it will be for a trash the dress session/casual photos.  I hard the hardest time trying to find a simple white slip dress.  They are going to make this dress in white or off white chiffon.  Hope it turns out. It was only $80 with shipping.

Since my engagement pics were taken in TTD on the beach style, I will trash my wedding dress underwater.  My FI weared a black linen shirt with white pants, and I weared a green runway Prada dress, the pics turned out to be very vibrant!
