My dress from Babyonline did have the elastic belt in it (and it's not even strapless).

I've been reading this thread for days now to get ideas on which online site I should over my dress from.  I wanted to ask all of you that have ordered dresses online what the inside of the dresses were like.  I'm sure you have all tried on designer dresses at bridal shops, and when you try on a strapless it usually has an elastic belt inside to help keep a strapless dress up.  Do your dresses include this? Or would that be something extra to ask for?

both babyonline and monica bridal add those elastic belts inside their dresses.  I don't find them that useful, thus I will use fashion tapes as extra precaution!

I meant that at prettypigpig

adcarter41 - that's awesome! if it wasn't for those elastic bands, I wouldn't even consider a strapless dress.  When I tried them on though, I saw how snug they fit and how it wouldn't be a struggle keeping it up, so I loved it.  I also like how you can have the elastic on tight, but the dress doesn't look like it's squeezing you in and you don't get those rolls right under your armpits!

Depending on how endowed you are, you might want to make a special request for a wider elastic. I think it's called an invisible bra? Both my strapless dresses from Monica Bridal have the elastic strap but it is only about 3/4" wide so don't expect a ton of support. It is nice to know I won't have to wear a bra though.

Can someone help me understand this shipping information.  It looks like the shipment is being held in the warehouse as looking at the time codes "follow up actions are underway".  Does this mean they are holding my dress?  At first I thought Onforward for delivery meant it was being delivered to me but if you look at the times, they aren't in order.  17:22 is the last entry.  Or am I wrong here?  I'm worried I'm not going to get my dress.
