Is it true?

Recommended Posts

Recently, I borrowed a book all about the Caribbean and different resorts in the Caribbean, and it stated that the Dominican Republic has the best priced resorts in the Caribbean. So, is that really true compared to other places like Jamaica or even Mexico?

Hmmm, I think that it might depend on where you are traveling from. Like I know since i am in Philly, it is cheaper to fly to Jamaica then Mexico, but for the people on the West Coast, it's probably cheaper to get to Mexico then Jamaica.

Have you contacted a travel agent for some current price comparisons?

(If you contact the TA for Jamaica (Maureen), she just had a baby a few days ago, so she may be delayed in getting back to you.)

From our perspective, we found that for comparable quality; we could get more "bang for the buck" in Punta Cana. As far as airfare goes, I agree with everyone else ... it depends upon where you are coming from.

I would def talk to one of the TA's on here and let them help you with price comparisons if you are unsure.

Well it also depends where you live because our wedding was in Cuba and we live in Canada and when I look Cuba is really the least expensive and you still get to have amazing weddings, our guests in june for a 4.5* cost them 915$ everything included and the wedding package was free and i mean really free the only thing we paid was was for extra flowers and hair and make up:)

so yeah then I think DR is the nest least expensive
