Hi Kate I was looking at your pics and video for your wedding, and I love your hair and makeup. You look so natural and pretty and I am one who likes hair to look soft and subtle. Who was your hairdresser and makeup artist?

 

Also what did the videographer charge you for your video? Did the same company take your pictures? Thanks for any help you can give me. I am planning my wedding November 26 2010.

Hi Darci! Congrats on your upcoming wedding!
My hairdresser was the one Playa Fiesta provided. She didn't speak a lot of english so I brought pictures from a bunch of angles. If you like my hair- I can provide you with pics to give whoever you use! I highly recommend bringing pics when you go!
I did my own makeup. I was a little afraid of looking like a clown, although the girls that used her look fab so I guess I had nothing to worry about. But I just went to the Bobbi Brown counter (I know girls go to Mac all the time too) and got a demonstration. I bought my makeup early and went back a couple of times for quick lessons. AND I got to keep great makeup so I am glad I did it that way:) Hope that helps~

Our videographer has 2 packages and we did the more expensive one at $1k. He had 2 helpers so 3 videocameras and stayed through most of our reception. I wanted to get some of the dancing on camera and glad I did! Very nice, professionally dressed and punctual:) Not to mention I LOVE our video.
Our photographer was Elizabeth Media and was seperate:) LOVE her!

Congrats on your gorgeous wedding! Your slide show is amazing!

Where did you get the maracas? did you ship them from home or did you get them in mexico? I really liked the idea on the maracas for the first kiss!

Also, I noticed your bridesmaids wore different styles... I'm planning on doing the same for my wedding party...your bridesmaids fabric all matched! wow! I haven't been able to find different styles with the same fabric. Where did you find the dresses?
