No Bare Shoulders in Catholic Church

I was just informed by my WC that the church where we will be married does not allow bare shoulders!

 

My dress is strapless and so are my bridesmaids. I know its not a huge deal, but not an ideal situations since now we have to purhcase additional accessoires or have something made.

 

Does anyone have any creative suggestions? Or what is everyone else doing?

It's a really small church called San Mateo, its about 15 min from Careyes.

 

They are very strict.

Remind your guests about shorts as well. At the church in PV (The main one downtown), we went in just as sight seers and there was a sign that said no shorts on women, had to be covered past the knee or something like that.

There are some bridal companies that offer cap sleeves. Some of them even have snaps so you can take them off after the ceremonies.

 

I think most strapless dresses come with a wrap, at least mine and my BMs did. Otherwise, pashminas are probably the most economical option.

 

Will your BMs and other ladies need to have their heads covered? You might want to ask.
