We looked at Le Blanc too!! There resort is beautiful and they have great wedding packages. But when we went to our wedding planners with it they said it wasn't going to be what we wanted that it is very reserved and for a much older crowd. sad.gif

Great idea for a thread!

I am completely stumped.. I have changed my mind about 50 times!

I definitely think this is the hardest part.

I had my heart set on Dreams Tulum.. but I think it will be too expensive for my guests.

After reading this thread, I am going to do some research on Gran Bahia Principe since it's getting some great reviews!

Is it considered a "budget-friendly" resort?

My Wedding co ordinator (paty) has been awesome, she gets back to me quickly and doesn't seem to get frustrated with my millions of silly questions.
I liked that it was central to all the fun and downtown, close enough to the ferry to cozumel and absolutely gorgeous on the resort for the FI's family who doesn't like to leave the property.
I am really looking forward to the wedding there...should be quite nice!
Same as these 2 girls. Been to Playa before and had to cab it to the town every night which was a pain. Being so close to 5th was one of the main reasons for me. Royal is upscale and adults only which is perfect. But I also booked the Gran Porto Real, the sister resort for those with kids and on a tighter budget.
