Credit Card disputes?

Has anyone ever had to file a CC dispute?

Jan 5 I ordered my spa wraps. I found a really nice company on ebay, no negative feedback. I found out she had an internet store, emailed her to see if she had the font I wanted, she was nice and responsive. She even told me of a 25% off sale that was going on and gave me the coupon code for it.

Well here it is almost the end of the month and I still haven't received my spa wraps. I check the website and it shows awaiting shipment. I've sent her 3 emails, and called and left a message today that if I didn't hear anything by Monday I was calling my CC company.

Can anyone give me some advice how to go about this? I've been trying to contact the woman for over a week now. I spent over $100 on the wraps, and I don't really want to have to eat it. It really upsets me that she was so nice in emails, and she has great feedback on ebay yet I can't get my order or her to respond!

Or has anyone ever used the company Personal Expressions?

I could use all the help I can get. Thank god I'm far enough from my wedding to be able to reorder them through another company.

I work for a Credit Union so that's part of my job.

Normally when we input a dispute we ask our members if 30 days have passed from the day the company has shipped the item. That doesn't necessarily mean we cannot input the dispute for them. Usually when we contact the seller we get a response fairly quickly. In your case I would ask that you fill out the form and in the comments I would have you input when and how many times you've attempted to contact the seller and what their response was as well, and how long it has been saying "awaiting shipment." And also look on their website to see how long it takes for items to ship from time of order as well. Good luck and hope this helps.

She never told me how long it was going to take. But by going by the website, it says 3-5 days to process my order. The order ships 7-10 days after order is processed. Then an additional 2-5 days for delivery. Even if you add up the maximum amount of days for each step its 20 days. Which would put us at 1/26 at the latest. Well here it is past 1/30 and my order still says awaiting shipment!

I've never had to dispute a charge, so I guess monday I'll fill out the form and see what happens. Avon seems to have some really cute wraps onsale for valentines day now for 16.99, maybe I'll call my cousin and have her order them for me instead.

So my question I guess is, are the CC companies pretty good with doing this sort of thing? Besides it stating awaiting shipment on the website, I have no other real way to prove I didn't receive them. That's my biggest fear and I'll be out $130.

Here's the link to the website that shows how long things are supposed to take.

CC companies are pretty good about disputes. They have numbers to contact the merchants and the merchant has to submit info proving they shipped the item. Nine times out of ten they have a tracking number or somthing to go by to track when and where the item was shipped. If they didn't ship it they can't provide that info.
