PARADISUS BRIDES..Did you have a real DJ or DJ IPOD?

I am getting married in 5 months and I am not sure what to do about my music. I have read numerous posts that the DJ the resort recommends is not very good. My brother who is a DJ in London, has offered to create a playl ist and play it during the reception. What do you ladies think? HELP!

I got married at the Palma Real and i thought the DJ was fine. I did give him a playlist of what i wanted played but i thought the songs he played on his own were good too. I didnt have an ipod so that wasnt an option for me.
