Hello all Casa Dorada Brides,

 

I want to start a thread to get in touch with past & future brides of the Casa Dorada. We are planning on getting married in September, but am having some trouble getting an initial proposal from Gonzalo who is my contact at CD in charge of the big day. I know this is a new Hotel, and have contacted a few brides here that experienced some hiccups as well. Thought it would be good to utilize this thread for support, advice and encouragement. Feel free to share your planning stages.

Update!

Yes! We are finally getting the ball rolling on this. I have received an initial proposal from the Casa Dorada and am in the midst of working with Wedding Coordinator Sarai Flores.

Sandra, are you staying at Casa Dorada or are you just having your wedding there? Though my guests wouldn't be staying here, I am interested in this location for my wedding.

Yes we are staying at the Casa Dorada as well. We attended a timeshare presentation & ended up purchasing a 5 year deal. It's a beautiful new hotel right in the heart of medano beach. I am very excited about this location. Let me know if you have any ?'s that I may be able to answer.

Thought I would update the planning stages for the big day. Seeing as it is 6 months away I am getting super excited!! YAY

Looks like I am going to miss you by a couple weeks. I am getting married at Dreams on July 24th. We bought a timeshare at Casa Dorada as well back in September and considered using one of our weeks there and staying in Cabo another week for our honeymoon. We opted for a change in scenery though. I keep seeing your posts and I can't wait to see your pics and hear how your wedding turns out! Best of luck to you!
