Just wondering if any other brides will be getting hitched at the same resort as the FI and I?

 

I know Melia Las Dunas is pretty popular, and I stayed at the Melia Cayo Santa Maria that's right next to Las Dunas and it was GORGEOUS. But, Cayo Guillermo is much closer to the airport than Las Dunas which is why we chose it ...

 

I'm meeting with my TA this weekend to discuss wedding details (extras/flowers/etc.) so anyone who's had experience with this resort and can offer advice or warnings would be much appreciated!!

 

Thanks so much girls. Only 104 days till my wedding and I am SOOOO excited!!

Hi, my fiance and I stayed there in July 2007 and it was beautiful. The weather and beach were amazing and we saw a wedding the week were there. They had the ceremony on the pier, all decorated with white tulle, even brought out furniture. It's a lovely resort. We may go back to get married there, but Secrets Maroma Beach is our first choice since we've been to Cuba several times. Congrats & good luck with your planning.
