What date should I use on my SDT cards

Since we are having a small wedding in Anna Maria Island, I was thinking of sending save the date cards to everyone with our reception date instead of our wedding date since we don't expect many people to attend the actual wedding. Is this a bad idea?

could you send 2 different cards? one to everyone with the AHR date, and a 2nd one to the people you expect to come on the trip?
