Welcome...

I vacationed there last summer in July. It is a very nice resort. The food was good and the beach was nice. The staff is really friendly, too. The only thing was the mildew smell in the room, which seems to be a common problem as I have read other people's reviews of the Riu Palace. You will need to wash everything you packed as the smell sticks to everything. The upkeeping of the Palace is amazing. They are always scrubbing the floors and working on the gardens.
