My OOT Bags~ the big hits and the things that weren't used

I have all of these items in and started my OOT bags officially. Here is a photo of one of the mugs. We decided to put our names in green instead of black so that they did not "brand" the whole thing with our names in case ppl use them at a later date. We did put the theme of our destination marriage on the mugs in black so that it stuck out a little bit more.  I tried and these stickers are not coming off.  Being I'm bad at secrets I already showed one of our friends who will be getting one in Mexico and she was SO excited and thought they were awesome.

To personalize the mug we are putting these 2.25" waterproof stickers on the side. These are not our stickers but they are from the Esty company I purchased them from (link below). I measured it today and the 2.25" sticker fits PERFECT for these mugs.

Hello Girls , I wanted to share with you some pictures of  Welcome Bags that we have made in the past for my clients, as you better know not everyone have enough toiem to put together the  bags so as planner we took care of that ,,,also other bride told me that it would be alot of suitcases to carry  so they ask me to help them on that...I was very lucky because I get very good quality towels since the factory is here and provide towels to many of the resorts in the area...I just make sure to personalize them.

Everyone has different needs on vacation, I for one love not knowing the time on vacation - just rolling out of bed, rolling to the beach, and wandering to eat when I feel like it. But then again, my mom just mentioned that she noticed I do not have any clocks in my house. Just the microwave & my cell phone....

Hello!!! I've just returned from my wedding bonanza at Now Larimar in DR and wanted to note what were hits from my gift bag. 

 

Our OOT bags was a massive hit!!! Everyone used them over the weekend which helped the guests recognize each other. And made me feel great after spending quite a few cold days outside in London spray painting them! There were other people there for weddings but ours stood out sooo much. Make them individual rather than just buying any old tote. 

Secondly, I did a face book of the guests (can be seen in the pic hanging off the bags). It was great for everyone to know who everyone else was. A lot of my family hadn't met my step-daughter so it was great that they knew who she was before meeting her. 

Third, candy. I put in Pop rocks and Ring Pops. 

I put purple or lilac shawls in all the bags (our wedding colors). At night the ladies wore them when inside air conditioned restaurants. 

Our favorite shower gels - just because. 

And for those who had kids we put in floaties, goggles and coloring books. The kids used all of them!!!

A few people complained of stomach pains so the emergency pack should have been helpful.

Watches. Everyone wore them but ours were water resistant NOT water proof. So a few guests watches broke in the first day or so. Only buy water proof ones. 

 

Not used or not seen used:

Emergen-C packets

Game books like Suduko and cross words - people would rather swim

Snacks?!? I'm hoping they ate the Scottish Biscuits but we're not sure.

Oh, and for those looking to put the large mugs in there bags. I saw quite a few people carrying them around which I presume were guests for other weddings. Go for it!! If you know your group are big drinkers than go for it! Mine weren't (with the exception of 2 people) and it wouldn't have been worth it.

Love the bags! Spray painting is such a cool idea & they look great on the brown colored bags. How did you get the paint to look so neat (& not get all over the bag?) also what size was the bag? Did you order them online? Definately considering copying your bags! Thanks for sharing!
