Pics at the ruins?

I leave on Saturday for my wedding in the Mayan Riviera (staying at the Grand Palladium). We would love to get some pics taken at some of the ruins. Is there ANY of the ruins that you are allowed pics at? Even small ones?

We are also going to try and do jungle and cenote shots!

Any info would be great!

when I lived in Mexico, and visted the ruins you could take as many pictures as you wanted and of what ever you wanted...great idea!!

There are a couple threads about this. If you want to take photos in your wedding attire, it is not allowed. You might be able to get away with it, but it has been made pretty clear that they do not want wedding photos taken at the ruins.

There are some very small secluded ruins that if you can find, you can take pictures at. I believe they are in playa del carmen area.

However, the Tulum ruins and places of the such will NOT allow you to take any photos with your wedding dress. There have been a few brides who were able to sneak it in, and with quick thinking on the part of their photographers they did not get their photos erased as they were escorted out of the ruins... but do you really want to chance that?
