Newbie; getting married in St. John in May...

Hello all!

 

I've been reading the site for a bit and finally got to signing up.

 

My name is Heather and I'm getting married to my Reuben May 16th, 2009!

 

We actually met 4.5 years ago when we both moved down to live on St. Thomas and we spent 3 blissful years there. We have since moved to San Antonio to hang out with his family but I am sure we will be moving back to the islands some time this year.

 

Most of our guests are staying with us at Maho campground; we're planning a relaxed, beachy ceremony and fun reception. We'll be married before sunset on Big Maho Bay by his father and then off to Rhumblines restaurant for a reception complete with pirate fire dancers and Cruzan rum tasting table.

 

So far we have 33 guests confirmed but we are expecting 50-60; many of our friends still live on island.

 

The posts on this site that I have read so far have been very helpful...and a lot of fun. I'll post my dress and such in the appropriate places. I'd be happy to answer any St. Thomas/St. John questions!
