Hello BDW:

 

My FI and I were planning on having a small civil union in the states and then going to Cancun to have a ceremony/honeymoon? Since it was both our dream to get married on a beach, but a large part our family will not be able to make it to Cancun, we thought we would do a civil union for them. Has anyone already been married before going to Cancun for the ceremony/receptions? And if so, what would was needed. Since we will already be married is it just a matter of bringing our marriage licenses and proper I.D.? Any insight into this topic would be greatly appreciated!
