Oh no! I've changed my mind on our honeymoon week...we're looking at El Dorado Maroma now...it's smaller than the Royale, and I think after a crazy first week with 50 friends/family we'll want something totally relaxing where we won't have to move much! :) The Royale is gorgeous...what room type are you booking?

Hi there,

I am also getting married in November! Our wedding date is set on November 19 and the place is Gran Porto Real in Playa del Carmen. I am expecting our wedding and the whole 2-weeks holiday to be something very special as we have to spend 14 hours flying to Mexico cheesy.gif I´ve been many times in Asia and around Europe but this is my first time in that side of the world. I am so excited!

Our wedding will be quite small with only 6 guests and we are trying to keep everything pretty simple and small cheesy.gif

Well, I skimmed through 25 pages... lol. That was a lot to read... lol

Well, I am a Nov 14 bride to be. The wedding is going to be at the Iberostar Grand in the Riviera Maya area.

So far what I have done:

Created STD which were sent out last year

Reserved my wedding date at the Grand and picked the wedding package

Asked MOH (though FI needs to still ask for BM)

Have colors picked and theme

Booked photographer for wedding and TTD

Working on:

Formal invites (MIB)

Deciding on flowers

Need to do:

Buy a dress

Buy rings

Buy FI's attire

Book flights and room

Create OOT bags buy items to place in it

Buy wedding party gifts

Book honeymoon hotel (going to be staying at the Anse Chastenet/Jade Mountain in St Lucia - FI doesn't know this yet, but he wanted to go somewhere where we have never been... I'm not telling him where we are going...lol)

Ok, Nov brides, I am thinking that less and less that I am going to do OOT bags.

I mean we dont have that many people but I really dont think they will care about it.

They are just not the type of people who will want a bunch of travel sized items.

Maybe a cup that holds more boozehuh.gif not sure what my plan is.

Thanks Jess.

I mean I think if I just do a beer cup or koozie with some advil in cute packaging as a welcome gift it will be wayyy more useful and no one has to bring stuff home.

I am doing pashminas for the girls and golf tees for the men at the reception.

I think it will be plenty.
