If you can't find the spanish for dummies, amazon has a booklet for about $2. And they were running a buy 3 get the 4th free recently. I ended up spending about $34 with taxes, and shipping for 22 books. The booklet is called "easy spanish phrase book." Not as great of a deal as spanish for dummies- but still cheap! Sadly I found this forum after I had already bought.

I just ordered one of those Easy Spanish Phrase books from Amazon for $2. I saw that you can get them on Amazon Marketplace for $.01 & got all excited but the different vendors charge $3.99 S/H for each book! So my $.35 order turned into almost $200 with the shipping. Not such a good deal after all, so be careful & check S/H before ordering.

Just came back from Target, and happy to report that the dollar bins were just waiting for me to come and snatch up all of the Spanish For Dummies books! Hooray! Thanks so much for the timely tip, it's much appreciated. Now we HAVE to do the OOT bags...just have to figure out what else should go in them.

We bought the spanish for dummies books at Target for our oot bags too. We figured they would come in handy in Puerto Vallarta, and for $1.00 each we couldn't pass them up!
