Wedding Planners

Did anyone hire and could refer a wedding planner that can plan weddings internationally? I am looking for a wedding planner who can help with a wedding in Italy. I have found a few but would like some specific referrals. Thanks.

Thats a hard one! Did you check with the hotel you are staying at to see if they can recommend anyone? I think I would start there personally.

From my research it seems Italy is not like Mexico or the Caribbean. We are not going to have the wedding reception at a hotel and Americans must be married at the Town Hall by the mayor. Its actually really pretty and less sterile as it sounds. You can be married on a terrace overlooking the bay of Napali.

I wrote you a response in your other post about anyone getting married in Europe. I recommended a WC that I was in contact with when we originally were considering Italy for our DW. She was very attentive and helpful!

I think you should look a for a planner in Italy just because they would be more familar with the country and its traditions.

I believe the WC I recommended you is located in Italy which might make communicating a little more difficult because of the time difference, but will probably know more things locally for you.

 

We are using a WC that lives in both France and NJ so it really makes things convenient for us when we try to get in touch with her and arrange things.
