First wedding item you purchased

My shoes! I went to a bridal shop looking for dresses and they had a ton of shoes that the owner had got on discount from someone's shoe store that had gone bankrupt. They cost me only $20!

My dress was actually my first thing haha. I went dress shopping the week after getting engaged, and bought my dress within 2 weeks - you can tell what I was excited for!

I think next were our invitations. It was after that that it became "real" to me

 I agree, first it was the moment we booked our hotel that I was like "wow, this is happening". Then after I chose my dress I realized that's how I would walk down the aisle and it hit me again haha

The first wedding item I purchased was the fee for the travel agent. We booked through destination wedding.com and there's a $50 fee that is added to your final cost.

First actual fee was deposit on our resort. Actual wedding item to be used - postcards for our guestbook as friend was in mexico

First thing we bought were shadow boxes from Michaels to frame our engagement souvenirs but when we went they were having a buy one get one sale, so we purchased one to use as part of our wedding...somehow.
