Possible Rehearsal Dinner locale...

Mishka, I told my WC about this place after I called for prices and he told me that it was in a sketchy part of town. I sometime think my WC is dramatic so I wanted to check with you before I stop pursuing this place.

Well, I don't want to step on the toes of your WC for sure! But, from my perspective, it's 5 blocks up from the Buena Aventura/Villa Premiere and I live right across the street from it (and have lived in this apartment 3+ years and counting). It's definitely not on a "tourist track" but my parents stayed in a posh condo further up the street (having never been to Mexico before, spoke not a lick of Spanish, as "guero" as you can be and 150% out of their element) and my Dad walked all over by himself and said he didn't feel the least bit nervous. We've seen a bunch of tourists come into the restaurant - I'm not real sure how they are hearing about it, but they are :).

I actually called and they told me it would be 300-350 pesos per person not including drinks, tax, or gratuity.
