I'm wearing a veil and a flower...I think.

Tammy, your flowers didn't fall off the pin? I tried to do the same thing this weekend and the flower fell off. I'm not sure why...I think I'll try again. I also didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a flower clip.

What type of clip did you use? I used a bobbypin looking thing from Michael's that had a flat round area on it. Or did you use an alligater type clip?

Super cute!

LOL, Sorry Jess.. Ann is my DW sister and I knew she was having problems finding a flower for her hair so I wanted to tell her what I did. lol

So now for my Sheraton sis (that's you Jess) Yes I used the bobby pin with the flat thing on the end. It bonded really well, did you use hot glue? I used the highest setting on the glue gun so that it got really hot and it bonded really well. I also probably put more glue then what I needed just to make sure it grabbed the flower well. What type of flower did you use?

I understand....just had to give you a hard time...it was too easy of an opportunity to pass up :)

Ahh, we're Sheraton sises....is that a word? yes, I used hot glue, but my glue gun is a cheap little $2 thing and doesn't have multiple heat settings. The flower was a silk/latex orchid, probably similar to yours. I think my problem might have been that the flower was slipping a bit when I first put it on...maybe that interferred with the bonding. I'll have to try it again. I thought for sure it was going to work.

Ann, did you get the flowers yet? How is the quality of the flower? Is the flower attached to a bobby pin or an alligater clip? ....boy, I'm full of questions in this thread. :)

Jess, (or SS for short (sheraton sis))

If I were you I would buy a better glue gun I think I spend like 10.00 on mine and it has a high setting. Maybe your glue gun isn't getting hot enough. OR warm your glue gun up for 5-10 minutes before you use it, maybe it just wasn't hot enough yet.
