I'm looking at stuff for my OOT bags and I got to thinking about doing my own shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bottles. Has anyone filled their own bottles and put cute labels on them? If so, where did you get the empty plastic bottles and what did they cost? Thanks!

oh thats a great idea :) you can use a fancy expensive shampoo, etc just buy it in bulk and it will save money.

ive gotten the goody brand containers at wal-mart too, probably the same pack as tina! sounds like the same price. one side says shampoo, and the other side is smooth enough for a label. they have navy blue snap open tops.

I thought of this idea briefly but then thought I'd just buy small sizes of bath stuff and skip the shampoo/conditioner but if it can be done cheaply I may have to consider! Thanks for the ideas and Kristy, when you make your final choice please let us know.

And hey - did you two realize you're wedding day twins? (It is also one of my son's birthdays so that date popped out for me.)

Anyhow, I have lots of time until my summer 2010 wedding so thanks for everyone's great ideas!

I just found this little bottle: Plastic Bottle & Cap- 2 oz capacity - Travel Size Other Products Products - Minumus.biz

It's $.31 per bottle, but free shipping. I think this may work. I think I will do shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and mouthwash. (We're staying in villas so those items are not provided.) Think this is reasonable?

By the way, everything else on that website is expensive, so I wouldn't waste your time looking around on it.

Kristy - that's how a post shoudl read. Tell us the info that's most important and then mention not to waste our time on the rest of the site. WTG!

Lord, knows I'd be on it all day, trying to find other "deals". Instead I can waste my time on other websites. lol
