HELP!! AHR is this Saturday and I need song help ASAP!

Recommended Posts

We are having a pretty formal type AHR this weekend for Nana and Grampy since they were not able to come to Jamaica due to both being in nursing homes.. They both are very special to Jay and I and we wanted to recreate as much as possible with them and making them feel like the day was happening for the first time. We have 104 people coming sooo I hope everything goes off without a hitch.

Jay and I orig were going to fore go the whole dancing with mom and dancing with dad because my family is not around. Jay's mom asked bout this and "dad" (Jays dad) wanted to know what song we were dancing too.. this means I am going to now be dancing with Jay's dad when after he dances with his mom...

Here is problem.. what kind of song do I usehuh.gif? I went lastnight on to weddingwire because they have tons of songs.. but I couldn't find ANYTHING even remotely daughter in law esk. Everything just went about being little and growing up with your dad stuff.

Do you have any ideas about a song for mehuh.gif? I need to have it to the DJ by tomorrow AM so if he needs to get it off itunes he has time. YIKES!!!!!

I googled "father and daughter in law dance for wedding" and got some intereting results...

Father In Law/Daughter In Law Dance Weddingbee Boards

louis armstrong's what a wonderful world

My Wish by Rascall Flatts

I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack

True Colors (cover) by Eva Cassidy

Treat Her Right by Sawyer Brown (if you like country, this is a nice song that can be interpreted as being addressed to your FH from your FIL about you... does that make sense?)

Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World medley by Israel Kamakawiwo Ole, is lighthearted, fun, and sweet YouTube - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

That Rascall Flats song got quite a few nominations from the pages that I found.

Also, just some old song by Sinatra or something might work well.
