Dreams Welcome Dinner

I am looking forward to hosting a welcome dinner and I was inquiring about the Casino Theme, but the extra cost for that is out of our budget. Did anyone just have dinner without a theme and if so was it still nice?

I read in Cheese Diva's review that she did a mexican themed buffet and all set up by Mariana and she gave it a good review.

 

I am doing the buffet dinner on the beach for $29pp. There are 3 menus to choose from for the buffet, Mexican, Caribbean, and Barbeque.

 

I hope it turns out nicely.

I wanted to do a welcome dinner but we were worried about too much family interaction since both sides of our parents were divorced.

 

My mom actually just went down to the buffet restraunt one night and just asked them to put tables together and that there was a bunch of us going to eat there. I dont know if they necessarily liked that but there was probably 25 of us down there eating and it was great and we did not have to pay anything extra either which was fantastic!

We are doing the Mexican themed Welcome Dinner, however we are doing the Casino Night afterwords. I think you will be fine with just the dinner - we have a lot of gamblers in our group, so we thought that would be fun.
