Desperate Newbie??

Hey everyone! My name is Kelsey and I live in Fort Collins, CO. Since we got engaged I've been set on a destination weddding. I grew up in Hawaii and went there this past Christmas to check out locations. I was dissapointed when I didn't find anything that I really loved. Now, I've decided on Mexico. I love the beaches and affordable prices!! One thing I'm stuck on is what resort to hold the wedding! I hope to find all the info I need on this forum. I'm leaning towards Cancun or Los Cabos for a July wedding. I am the type of person that tends to wait until the last second for everything so I know what your thinking. This whole planning everything has really got me stressed out. I am open for any suggestions! Thanks girls!!!

Congrats! I, too, am a Colorado bride and decided between Cabo and Playa for our wedding. If you're thinking July, Cabo will probably be a safer bet to avoid hurricane season (though you can never really predict the weather!). Since we plan to get married in mid-November, we're looking at Playa instead. However, if most of your guests are coming from Colorado - Cabo is an easy direct flight on more than one airline which is another bonus!

I have a wedding in Cancun in July so maybe we will bump into each other! lol The wedding that I am shooting is at Moon Palace, and I would recommend checking with them. I have photographed a wedding there before, and it is a fun, laid back place.
