Dj music

We are considering getting a dj for our poolside reception. Does anyone know what type of music the dj typically plays at Riu?

The DJ at ROR played a variety of music, but mostly R & B, hip hop, & reggae and current songs that you would hear on the radio.

If you're using the DJ for your reception, you can definitely tell him or give him a playlist of the music that you want to hear. You can even make your own cd's & he'll play them.

oh that is great news! I was a little concerned and planned to bring some mixed CDs

I'd bring the CD's anyway, just in case! Cuz you're never gonna know who you're gonna get. For instance, we had 1 DJ for our reception & then a different one came in when the disco opened up to the public. That second DJ was much better!
