How are you addressing your AHR invites

We can't decide between formal or informal on them

What do you think?

We are keeping it very informal.

 

Can you tell me how you did the monogram in your siggy!?!

We had Sprouille Designs(see the sticky thread) from here at the forum..It was only $5 for three different ones I think.. We are using it for quite a bit, stickers, on our invites, etc.

Even though our wedding is informal; we still did all the addressing formal. I can't tell you why - but I just really liked the way it looked.

I think either way is fine though.

I think it depends on how you want to set the tone... if you go with formal you can expect people to expect a formal setting. We set up our backyard with tables and tons of lanterns/candles/luminaries and made it feel like we were at the beach and decorated all the tables with sand and starfish etc. To set the tone for this we did themed passport invites for everyone. They loved it and it helps them to understand what the dress code, expectations are going to be.

You can do anything and it will be great but just remember that the guests have no idea what to expect except whats in that little invite.
