Reception speeches?

Looks great. Been thinking about this. Any ideas on what you guys are saying. giving toast .. speech??

For those who didn't plan any speeches (which is what we're doing) did you still make your own little toast and thank everyone for coming? If so, when? My fiance and I are definitely going to do something, but neither of us are public speakers and we're wondering what others have done. I was also considering having my dad welcome and thank everyone at the start of dinner, in which case I'm wondering if my FI and I should do something different, like a toast to our parents.
