My name is Charlotte, wedding date is July 17, 2010, and Virginia Beach is the expected location.

 

Aaron graduates from West Point this May and will be in the Army thereafter, so we're hoping he's not shipped to the sandy land at a time that would interfere with our date, but there's no guarantee.

 

Because we're both Army brats, we've had a hard time picking a "state" let a lone a location for our wedding. After going up and down the east coast, I've found that Virginia Beach will probably work with close, inland, cheap hotels, and the beach nearby for the ceremony. Though it's not as destination as many people on this site, it's still a destination wedding for me, being in CT for school, my parents stationed in Germany, and his in North Carolina.

 

I look forward to getting ideas and advice, and helping others if I can :)
