Packaged tours of europe

Has anyone done a package tour of any european country. We want to do Italy but was thinking about a tour just so that we don't have to worry about getting lost and I hear that you don't have to wait in as massive lines as you do when you go in alone...

 

I just never done one and I wouldn't know where to start. Any feedback or recomendations would be awesome.

i did Contiki a few years ago, but we went to a bunch of countries, not just one. There are definitely pros and cons to doing group tours. PM me if you want more info!
