Where to buy a single stamp in Buffalo on a Sunday...

Hi ladies,

 

As a Canadian bride, I'm hoping some of my American counterparts can help me with a really silly scenario. Since it's common courtesy to include postage for your guests when they mail out your RSVP card, it kinda makes sense that when FH and I drive into Buffalo this Sunday (for my birthday dinner at the Cheesecake Factory!), that I should pick up a US stamp (for delivery to Canada)...

 

Until I realized that I have NO idea where I could purchase a single stamp when all the postal offices are closed on Sunday!

 

Is it a last cause?

I am also Canadian ..not too far from you ...... so not sure I am helping here ....but maybe a drugstore would sell them?? Also, sometimes convenience stores here sell stamps so that might be an option as well.

There are some post offices that have vending machines where you can buy stamps. If the vending machines are in the lobby, often times the doors are open for a certain amount of hours on Sundays. Most grocery stores and convenience stores sell stamps.

Walmart sometimes has vending machines where you can buy stamps as well

I agree with everyone else - Walmart, PO vending machines, drug stores, etc sell them. You can look up what's close to the Cheesecake Factory and call ahead to make sure.

 

Check the international postage rate for your rsvp card as well. You may have to buy a 10-pack of 42 cent stamps (the standard postage) and then just put more than 1 stamp since the international rate is more than 42 cents.
