My engagement story

Ok so here it is,

So we had just built a brand new house together (our first house)and it was the day we were moving in. We were both supposed to leave work early to meet at the house with the foreman to do our walkthrough and get the keys. I drove there on my own stopping to get a truck and trailer that was all packed with furniture (which was scary on its own) then headed off to the house. On my way there Chris called and told me that he wasnt able to leave work and that I would have to do the walkthrough on my own. This was sucky news because I really wanted him there and now I was going to have to unpack on my own

I started to cry and opened the door to the empty house and saw real rose petals leading from the front of the house (the living room ) to the back of the house (the kitchen) at the end of the trail he had marry me written in lit tealight candles. I started to cry and looked around and there he was hidden around the corner bent down on one knee and gave me his speech. I said yes and cried more It was the best engagement ever! I couldnt have asked for more
