I actually wish I had used 2" pvc instead of 1" and made it slightly larger & taller. We got everything at a local plumbing store and the whole thing cost less than $80 dls.

Fabric: we bought 20 yards of white tulle and cut and placed onsite ... no sewing just cut to fit and tied to poles with ribbon.
This looks awesome! I would have never considered burring it in the sand. How tall was yours before you burried it?

We made ours. I think that we spent around $100 for the pvc and then the cost of the fabric.

I would caution you against using PVC on the beach only because if the wind is strong (as it was on our wedding day) you may have some problems keeping it up. We had to anchor ours with an extra piece of ribbon in the back to keep it upright.

Thanks Christa...I will definately use her for that...How much did she charge you for your flowers? Gerber daisy's especially (My mom doesn' like my flowers wants me to use more colorful ones, which I kindof agree....It won't look wierd that my bridesmaids will have gerbers and I will have a different flower right?)
Thanks for your help

I sourced my own flowers - see my review http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t3895

I paid a total of $245 for 6 bunches of gerberas & 3 bunches of roses. This included the labor to cut the stems down to size for the table arrangements & make 2 bouquets.

Reallyhuh.gif Well I need to keep that in mind....

One question...I want my bridesmaids to carry the gerber daisies but I want to have some different flowers...but with the gerber daisies...what flowers would go with them, that would be available in July
