Both of my babies names are on that.....Zoë born in 2000 and Wyatt born 2007! I hadn't heard either untill I named my kids that. It's nuts how popular an unpopular name can become.

Is your daughter named Avery? I really like that name it's my friend's daughter's name. and i never heard it much until she named her that. I'm surprised its on the list.

I'm surprised with a lot of these actually! I guess some of the "unusual" names aren't so unusual anymore. My niece's middle name is Makenna - I can't believe that's on the list! #86 but still. I don't know any other girls with that name.

I saw this list a few weeks ago. Am I the only one who giggled at #20 Sarah Connor?!

 

I knew an Avery growing up, but he was a guy so I've always associated it with being a boys name. I have seen it becoming very popular lately though. It's funny how these names just become popular out of nowhere it seems.

 

A couple of my top girl names are on that list.

 

It's funny because when we picked the name Aiden I had no idea it was so popular. Same with the girls names...

 

Oh well, honestly, I don't care about having some super rare name. I always grew up with other Jessica's and I didn't feel any less unique or an individual because of it.

My friends' cousin named their daughter Makenna.. after a beach they really liked in Maui.. but spelt different. I'd never heard it before but I guess it's becoming more popular
