Going Barefoot?

I got married at Dream in Cabo, just down the beach from the Hilton. I went barefoot during the ceremony and the sand was fine, not hot at all! I kept my shoes up by the reception area and just put them on there, it was also a lot easier taking the pictures in the sand without shoes on too!!

I am sooo a barefoot bride. I don't care how it looks. I do have a shorter heal for the hem and walking around the resort other than the beach. But they are coming off for the ceremony and most pics for sure!

if you feel like your dress is a little to fancy for going barefoot, why not wear some fancy footwear like this:

 

 

thats what I plan on doing, and then switching into the heels for the reception.

I wore flat sandals for the ceremony - the sand was too hot for me. I changed into heels for the ceremony. My short BM wore wedges which worked.

The sand is not hot at all during November, in fact it is very nice. But ultimately is your call on shoes or no shoes. Hilton does not provide a walkway, you must rent it from your florist. If you do want a walkway, ask for a coco-runner. It is sturdy and very firm.

I'm planning on barefoot for the ceremony and then some gorgeous silver heels for the reception... my dress is fairly simple so I think barefoot is the way to go.

Whatever makes you feel better, you need to be comfortable so you're not distracted by your footwear, but enjoying your big day. Either way you all look gorgeous!
