dreams/cabo/help please!

Recommended Posts

okay. so I am leaning towards dreams in cabo.

when reading some reviews, I see people referring to other wc they used plus the one at the hotel, how did you find this wc?

also, do you still need to have a ta or will the wc take care of this?

i am not really sure where to start and how to. thankful i have til feb 2010 to get this done, but am worrying about how to go about it.

any help would be so appreciated!!

I am getting married at Dreams, I am only using thier wedding coordinator as we are keeping it pretty simple. She has be kind and quick in helping me get quotes and ideas.

I did however use Tammy with Wright travel thru this website to help negotiate the rates and get a room block.

I am still at the beggining of planning but they have provided me with a lot of help so far.

Dreams has 3 WC at the resort who are extremely helpful. I used Yesica and she was fantastic, we only had 35 people there.

I also used Tammy (Host) from Wright Travel as our Travel Agent she was fantastic, she is also a Dreams Bride and so helpful setting up the room block, flights, etc. I highly recommend her!

I am getting married at Dreams as well. I am only using the Dreams coordinator - Yarai. She has been great so far.

I am using Tammy from this site to do my room block and negotiate rates. Like mentioned before she is a Dreams Bride and has had a lot of experience working with this hotel.

Tammy can either help get you started or you can fill out the date request form on the Dreams website.

I'm getting married at Dreams this summer and I'm only using the hotel WC, Yarai. She responds really quickly to my emails, and she was really sweet when my fiance and I met her during our site visit. At first I was thinking of hiring a separate WC in addition to the Dreams WC, but so far I haven't needed to.

I'm getting married at Dreams and only using the hotel WC Yesica. She's been great so far. They are pretty busy so sometimes she doesn't answer emails right away, but in eventually she does. It doesn't bother me because I started my planning well in advance.

I was originally using an outside coordinator as well, but I just found that I was able to get better prices on my own without her up-charging me.

If you don't mind doing some of the research and work yourself, I would suggest just working with the Dreams Coordinator. They're really great! Have done this alot and I've heard really good things about them cheesy.gif

You will most likely need a travel agent (TA) though to coordinate your party's flights. The WCs won't do that.

no i'm not using a band. Were actually having our ceremony at the Catholic Church in San Jose, and then coming back to the hotel for reception. We are doing all the actual planning separately, and didn't get a package. For the ceremony we have a group of people singing, and then at the reception we are just having an IPOD playlist. We were going to maybe get a DJ but decided not to, since I don't think its necessary.
