Q for TAs...booking second week

Hello my always helpful TAs at BDW (I wish I would have found this site before I found my current TA!!!)

I have a question about booking our vacation for a second week. I realize that it is very last minute (we leave on Jan.18th) but we checked with our TA to see if we could book the second week. She said that there is no flight availability. I can see this - but I would just like someone to double check for me to see if this is the case. Her and I have had some issues in the past & I don't fully trust her anymore. We are leaving Toronto on January 18th and flying to Puerto Plata where we will be staying at the RIU Bachata. If you need anymore info please let me know. While you are at it, can you look into an extra 3 or 4 day stay?? We will take whatever extra we can get at this point!!

Or maybe you have another option...drive to Samana or Punta Cana...stay at a resort there & fly out of there instead. We are looking to keep this under $1000 for both of us so cheapy, cheapy is what we are looking for!!

What airline are you flying? I would be surprised if there were "no flights" at all on any days that following week. But hey, what do I know Are you on a charter flight or just regular scheduled air?

Are you looking to stay at the RIU extra nights or definately want to go elsewhere? Flying from Samana will not save you $$ and it's a PITA anyways. Not the most convenient flight options in/out of there. PC will give you more flight options but it's a long drive (just so you know).

We're flying Skyservice (charter I think). My TA told me that our supplier only does 7 or 14 days so the 10 day is not an option. It would be too much of a pain to go to Samana or PC so we're just going to do a romantic weekend the weekend after we get back. Thanks for your response though!

Oh...why is flying from Samana a PITA??
