Barcelona Tapas

I just talked to the owner ofBarcelona Tapas today. He said that they are shutting down and don't know when or even if they will re-open. I was pretty bummed because we were planning on having our rehearsal dinner there in March. I just wanted to let everyone know in case any of you were hoping to host a dinner there.

 

They do own another restaurant, Agave Grill which has gotten good reviews for the most part. I told him I wanted Barcelona for the views and he recommended Vista Grill for a great view. Has anyone hosted their Rehearsal dinner at Vista?

awwww thats to bad that there closeing they were one of my fav places to eat at in p.v !!! i hope they do re-open as for the vista grill I have never eaten there but i have heard that it is very good !!

That's too bad. I met Bill while we were there in October and he's a great guy. I haven't personally been to Vista but some friends that were with us when we went to Tapas said it was great. Great view, good food, kind of dressy! Good Luck.

We were there last July and it was so nice! The food was great, the view and atmosphere even better. I've heard the same thing about Vista, so I'm hoping it turns out okay!

I emailed William @ Barcelona Tapas on Monday about the closing. He said the restaurant closed for 3 days due to "personal issues" but they are open for business! Yay!

I just got an email from Kelley (our WC in PV) and she said the same thing. I'm so excited!!! I love that place!

What kind of price range is it there? We are on a very tight budget and having a hard time finding something for less than $30pp!

I was so sad to hear this but it seems they are open again? Thank goodness because I love that place!

 

Cindy, search the PV section and also the Las Caletas thread for welcome dinner recommendations & reviews. We held ours at Barcelona and it came out to more than $30pp but I also got a quote from Burros Bar that was around $20, and I know Yari found a super bargain Mexican restauraunt that she loved but I forget the name.
