Can't Decide!!!

I looked at both Las Caletas and Le Kliff when we were deciding on a location. We went on a scouting trip and I skipped Le Kliff because the food and alcohol was too expensive for our budget - plus the privacy thing. We did go out to Las Caletas, and it is really pretty and definitely a very affordable option. I don't know if it will stay in your budget, because it really depends on the number of guests, but they were really friendly and seemed willing to work with any budget. The only downsides were based on the fact that we have some older guests, and there were too many stairs for the location to work for us. Overall, though, I don't think you should have trouble keeping it under $2000 per guest, unless the airfares are astronomically high. We're doing Playa Fiesta for 4 nights and it works out to about $1100 per couple, with a lot of perks thrown in (open bars, meals, entertainment, etc). The one thing we didn't take into account originally is that in PV, in addition to the room fee they charge 17% tax and 10% service at (I think) pretty much all hotels. It was a shock when we got our first room bill! But I think wherever you choose, it's going to be gorgeous - any location in PV is beautiful!
