i bought a size smaller for 2 reasons, 1 was for the more strings reason haha, and 2 was because i bought it off the rack and they didnt have my size. it fit just right tho and i love how the corset ended up looking

well i just got another call! They re ordered my dress same size and all! However it will not be shipped until May 20!!!! I am so afraid something will go wrong! That is really pushing it with alterations!! Im short and will need it taken up! How long before your wedding did you girls get your dresses? HELP!!!!!!! =)

Wait, your avatar thingy says your wedding is May 14, so how can they ship it to you May 20? I am hoping that is a major typo and you meant they can ship it March 20. If that's the case, I think that's pleny of time for alterations. A good seamstress can do it within a week. You might pay extra, but since it was their mistake, I would just tell them that they have to pay the seamstress' extra fees. Good luck!

I'm so afraid that the same thing is going to happen to me. I ordered a size smaller due to the "expert" advise. I also have a corset... Oh! I can't wait till it comes in.
