I was a Le Meridien bride until about a month ago.. they just werent as flexible as we thought they were. It's a beautiful place.

Thanks Jenny. I noticed that you switched! I was a little nervous at first because Jessica was taking forever to respond, but I had a phone conference with her on Friday and she is so nice! I'm sure everything will go well. Good luck with your wedding.

 

On a side note...did you invite family and friends to your church wedding? Did you do a reception afterwards too?

Hiii! Le Meridien is on my list. My FH first choice is the Me Cancun, but I just saw pics of the gazebo at Le Meridien (it's beautiful) so I'm researching them as well. I emailed Jessica earlier this evening for information and package information.

I'm hoping to book by this May/June because we are going in August to finalize plans with whatever hotel we picked.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I see you only have a short while left. I know you won't have much time soon, but if you have any info on Le Meridien I could really use it. Like package info, what's included, are they really strict on timing/vendors, is Jessica good to work with, did you secure group rate for your guests...stuff like that.

Hi Bellame00 - My package info was pricing from 2007, I think Le Meridien changed their menus for 2008. In 2007 they had buffet option which I think they no longer offer now. For the most part, timing was fairly strict. The wedding had to end by 11pm if it was outdoors. The day after our wedding we saw another wedding that had their reception indoors and going on until 2-3am. They were fairly open about bringing alcohol from outside area and using other vendors. I used their florist, music and minister, but brought my own photographer.

 

I worked with Jessica and she's really great.

 

They did offer me a group rate but around April/May time frame I found a sale on Expedia that was cheaper than what they offerred so none of my guests used the hotel group rates.
