Where do I start?!

So we know we definitely want a destination wedding...where should we begin? Does anyone suggest traveling down to check it out before beginning the booking process? Wedding planner? I'm so confused!! Help girls!

Absolutely, check the resort out for yourself and meet with the wedding coordinator before you do anything else!

Welcome to the site! Once we decided on a DW, I went to tripadvisor.com and did a lot of research on resorts, travel costs, and checking out traveler photos. It was very helpful and helped me to narrow down our destination and then narrow down our resort! I had found this site early on in my internet research and it has been a lifesaver! There are so many brides, travel agents, and vendors on here with so much information to share!

 

I won't be making a site visit before our wedding and we are OK with that. Many resorts have an on site wedding coordinator so you might not have to hire an outside one.

Hi!!! Welcome! I know lots of girls on BDW do site visits first, but I didn't. I just did a TON of research. Either way I hope your wedding turns out perfect!!!

if you can afford it i would recommend a sight visit for sure! make sure to do as much research as you can before you pick a city to check out, and try to visit all the hotels/venues that you can while you are there so you cna get a great comparison. that way you can see which site has the best offer for what you are looking for

We're almost 100% certain that we're having it at Dreams in Cabo. We are waiting for a response from the resort for dates available.
