This is probably a really rediculous question but I'm new to the DIY scene. blush2.gif

I am trying to make my own boarding pass invitations and have started in microsoft word with a template i found on here (thank you). I am just wondering if there is a better program that I should use that will allow me to layer things and such. If so what program and where do i get it from?

I used Word for all of my documents and it works just perfect. To place text over a picture you will need to use a text box. This is located in the drawing tool bar. it's a white box with an A in it. It automatically has a black outline, so you'll have to double click on the outline and remove that... but other than that it should work pretty easily.
