There are a lot of different models. For the legs you can get shorts, mid-thighs, knee ; for the waist same, the highest climb up to your stomach and cover everything so no problem !

I had to take a lower one though because my dress is backless....

Go to a department store to look at them and even try !

Spanx are bodyshapers. They keep you tucked in and firm you up a bit.
